All construction and remodeling services provided by Almeida Construction LLC are subject to a separate written contract executed between the Company and the client. Website content, estimates, or communications do not constitute a binding contract for services until a formal written agreement is signed by both parties.
Estimates and Pricing
Free estimates provided by Almeida Construction LLC are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance unless otherwise specified. Pricing is subject to change based on material cost fluctuations, scope changes, and site conditions discovered during project execution. All scope changes will be documented in a written change order signed by both parties before work proceeds.
Payment Terms
Payment schedules are defined in individual project contracts. Payments are typically structured around project milestones. Late payments may incur interest charges as specified in the project contract. Almeida Construction LLC reserves the right to suspend work for non-payment after providing written notice to the client.
Cancellation and Termination
Project cancellation terms are defined in individual project contracts. Generally, deposits paid to cover pre-purchased materials and mobilization costs are non-refundable. The Company reserves the right to terminate a project contract for cause, including non-payment, unsafe site conditions, or violation of contract terms.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Connecticut law, Almeida Construction LLC's total liability to any client shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific project giving rise to the claim. The Company is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
Warranties
Almeida Construction LLC warrants its workmanship against defects for a period specified in the individual project contract. Material warranties are subject to the respective manufacturer's warranty terms. Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, modifications by others, or normal wear and tear.
Governing Law
These Terms and all project agreements are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Fairfield County, Connecticut.
